Rob’s passion for passing on information and inspiration are borne out of the results that he himself has experienced throughout 22 years of (weight) lifting and learning. For Rob a degree in Sport Science was immediately followed by a MSc. in Health and Exercise. Relocating to Orlando, Florida, for more qualifications, he gained experience in Personal Training and lecturing, at the University of Central Florida.
Returning to the UK, Rob set about building a successful Personal Training business in the West Midlands, whilst completing more qualifications and entering the world of competitive Natural Bodybuilding. Working one-to-one with clients was extremely rewarding for Rob, but the calling of owning and running his own gym became the ultimate goal. Rob opened the doors to Progress Gym in December 2010 and continually strives to improve the Members experience, by continuinly adding to the Team, services and equipment that make Progress ‘More Than a Gym’.
Rob has the ongoing desire to improve Progress along with helping the Members to improve themselves. Information and inspiration are central to Rob and therefore to Progress Gym.
